Pharmacy Technician Compliance Manager
The Compliance Manager will assist in implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the pharmacy's compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations specific to long-term care pharmacy operations. The Compliance Manager will work closely with the Compliance Director, staff, and external partners to promote a culture of compliance and ensure that all practices meet regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including DSCSA, DEA, EPA, HIPAA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Monday - Friday daytime hours with occasional afternoon shifts
Requirements
- IL Pharmacy Tech license that is active and in good standing
- PTCB or ExCPT certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Long Term Care pharmacy setting or similiar
- HS Diploma, or equivalent
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Compliance Director in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the pharmacy's compliance program, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct routine compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and track regulatory changes affecting long-term care pharmacy operations and assist in updating policies and procedures accordingly.
- Assist in preparing and delivering compliance training programs to pharmacy staff to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate with pharmacy staff and management to address compliance concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist in maintaining records of compliance activities, including training records, audit findings, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports on compliance activities and findings for the Compliance Director and senior management.
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding compliance-related questions and issues.
- Support the Compliance Director in responding to regulatory inquiries, inspections, and audits, and ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory agencies.
- Assist in managing the pharmacy's medication destruction program in compliance with EPA and DSCSA regulations.
