Pharmacy Technician-Retail
Looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a busy retail client.
This position will be right for you, if you are looking for a few extra shifts a month, during the week days.
Location
Fairfax, VA
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm No weekends
Requirements
- VA Pharmacy Technician license hat is active and in good standing
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous Pharmacy Tech experience (preferred)
Duties & Responsibilities
Pharmacy Tech Responsibilities:
- Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
- Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
- Filling prescription using compliance packaging
- Assists Pharmacist in daily tasks of pharmacy functions and compliance with all Federal and State requirements
- Professional Communication skills, both verbal and written and provides excellent customer service at the window servicing patients and clinical staff as well as by incoming phone calls
- Pays attention to detail and is detail-oriented
- Problem solving skills within a high-paced environment
- Proficient typing skills
- Duties as needed within daily operations of the Pharmacy
Compensation
